Tiktilaok
It’s harvest season! But trouble seems to loom as pesky pests threaten your crops. Help save your farmstead by defeating these farm invaders.
ABOUT THE GAME
Tiktilaok revolves around defending your farm from relentless invaders in two distinct game modes: Farmer and Chicken.
Farmer Mode:
- Players engage in a casual gameplay experience aimed at beating their high score.
- They control a farmer armed with a pitchfork weapon, tasked with fending off waves of invading creatures to protect their farm.
- As the game progresses, the difficulty gradually increases, challenging players to react quickly and strategically to survive for as long as possible.
- Throughout the gameplay, players can collect power-ups to enhance their shooter weapon and extend their lives, providing opportunities to achieve higher scores.
Chicken Mode:
- Players face an added layer of challenge as they defend the farm against incoming waves of invaders that increase in attack intensity.
- Players control a chicken armed with egg shooters, but now must contend with more aggressive and numerous enemies.
- Players must survive waves of invaders.
- Power-ups play a crucial role in helping players endure the relentless waves, providing temporary advantages and opportunities to turn the tide in their favor.

I have a warm fondness for arcade-like fixed shooter games; it's simple and easy to get hooked into. I like the game, as well as the theme that it's trying to lean into, but I guess my issue is the pacing and the layout.
It feels like there's a scarcity of enemies and they are placed in a random manner, which is not inherently bad, but it does lead to situations where it is tedious to move from one side of the screen to the other side just to get to the enemies.
I think that having a pattern or path for the enemies, as well as a greater number of them in groups would keep the game from being a move-and-shoot type of game.
I have other things to say, but I think this feedback is enough for now moving forward.
I am happy for the steps that the people involved are taking, and I am looking forward to further developments.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on the game! Let us know which aspects you enjoyed the most and where you think we could make improvements. Here's a lucky chick to brighten your gameplay. Have fun and enjoy playing! :D
